Load CAD

Enter filename of CAD drawing to load. Entry box will show a list of files with DXF ,CDL or IGS file extension depending on which type is currently set.

Inplot only supports wire frame CAD files with lines arcs and points. CADL files have the most support.

Default Directories are set with the Directories menu item and can be saved with the Settings menu item.

Mastercam Solid Models - Best way to translate Mastercam solid model to a wireframe CADL file so it can be imported into Inplot is to use 'Convert to Arcs' in the Mastercam Modify menu. This changes the splines to arcs. Select all splines, set tolerance to .010 (so it wont make too many).
